Teddy Bear Granny Square

07/02/2014 by Dada Filed Under: Crochet baby blanket patterns 139 Comments

Cute teddy bear crochet granny square
These are my new Teddy Bear Granny Squares. Recently, I saw this cute granny square on Pinterest (the endless source of inspiration for me), and wanted to make something similar, but somehow more textured. I like 3 dimensional crochet, very much, like those Lily Pad Flowers from my previous post, so I made my own Teddy Bear Granny Square. Think It’s cute.
Dadas place teddy bear granny square
I decided to make baby blanket out of those bears. It will take me a lot of time, but think it would be worth it.
Cute teddy bear granny square
I consider to make a tutorial for this granny square, so please let me know by leaving a comment below, if you would like me to do that.

Update: The Teddy Bear Baby Blanket pattern is now available in Dada’s place shop (payment options: Credit cards & PayPal).

You can also get the pattern in my Ravelry shop and in my Etsy shop. (payment option: PayPal)

They are beautiful!! Great for a blanket, you are very creative. Maybe you can make a blanket with half of bears squares and the other half with plain squares, so it does not takes you ages to do it. I will wait for the pattern!

Hi, we have a new grandbaby coming and his momma says this one is a teddy bear. Please, I would love to have a pattern for these granny squares. It has to be a lot easier than the monkey! thanks from Idaho

I would love your tutorial to make the bear & the lion. I just finished making your beautiful flower blanket with some yarn from my stash. Thank you. It came out great.
