This will be a quick, short post. I just wanted to show you my latest crochet project.
I’m not sure if I ever crocheted something plain colored. I think I haven’t.
Usually I can’t resist colors. But, when I made this flowery square, I had a picture of a large, simple tote bag, in send color in my head.
I like the rich texture of this square, and I think that it compensates the lack of color.
The bag is pretty big, which I really like.
I’m going to make a pattern for this square, actually, it will be a pattern for something colorful, lavish, flowery and definitely blooming…
The pattern for this granny square is a part of my Victorian Flower Baby Blanket and it’s available in Dada’s shop.
You can also buy the pattern in my Ravelry shop.
It's very classy. The pictures are nice too.
Lovely bag!!! And beautiful squares!

Stunning. It's so interesting to see how the monochrome squares work so well.

Thank you Maggie! 🙂
I used 100% cotton yarn 125m/50g "Tango" from St. George (manufacturer from Serbia)
Very classy neutral toned bag 🙂
Perfect! Colours are usually pretty but crochet in neutral tones looks very classy when done properly.
Beautiful and elegant ! <3
Hope you will add pattern for the fabric insert also : )

Hi! What a beautiful tote! Will you be making/selling also a tutorial or a pattern for the straps?? I would like to suggest it since I just found the pattern for sale, but I am interested as a tote project. Some instructions would be helpful. Let us know your thoughts…Thanks again!
I love this bag as well. Will you be selling a pattern for it soon?
It is simply beautiful. You should consider making a patter on how to make the tote. We will be happy to buy it. Tks so much!!
This beautiful bag is in my absolute favorite color. I started to crochet about two years ago and love the inspiration on your blog. Is there perhaps a pattern available to buy as I would love to spoil myself with this beauty.
Thank you so much Alma for your kind words! ? I’m so glad you like the bag! There is no pattern for the bag, but there is a pattern for the Victorian flower square which I used to make this bag. It’s a part of my Victorian flower blanket pattern, and you can check it out in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/265922698/flower-blanket-pattern-crochet-baby?ref=shop_home_active_8
or in my Ravelry shop: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/victorian-flower-blanket
I’m running a winter sale in my Ravelry shop, so you can now buy this blanket with 20% discount.
I joined the squares with single crochet, and that free tutorial you can find here: https://www.dadasplace.com/2017/11/free-primavera-flower-blanket-joining-and-border-tutorial.html

Hi I was wondering where do I get the pattern for the bag. I just love it and would like to make it for myself. Thankyou pat.
I didn’t write the pattern for the whole bag, but the square I used to make this bag is the part of my Victorian flower blanket pattern, and you can find it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/265922698/flower-blanket-pattern-crochet-baby
The bag is simply gorgeous!
I am making one now for my daughter’s teacher using you Boho Bag Pattern (but with 9 squares for each side) and was wondering if the fabric you used in this one for the strap reinforcement is the same fabric as lining or is it a thicker fabric?
Thank you Kasia! Glad to hear that you’re working on my Boho bag pattern. I used the same fabric as lining for that bag.
This bag is super cute. I’m having some difficulty seeing what you did to make the crocheting on the straps. Are those rows of single crochet, or maybe half double crochet, joined the same way as the squares using a single crochet stitch? And then an edging of single crochet with a picot? It would be really helpful just to know what you did. Thank you for sharing this great project–it came out beautifully.
I love this bag so much!
I’ve made the two sides of the bag but still need to make the sides, bottom and handles
I know you said you don’t have a pattern for this bag, but could respond to this comment with basic instructions even? What stitch you used etc?
I would really appreciate it!!
