In my last post I promised to show you another Rosie Posie Grannie Square pillow, but I didn’t like how it turned out, so I started another one. After I made 6 granny squares, I realized that I didn’t have enough beige yarn. I went to my favorite yarn shop, but they didn’t have that color, so I started the famous Rosie Posie Grannie Square pillow for the third time… this time I replaced the beige yarn with white…

As I posted earlier, the pattern for these granny squares I found on the lovely Cherry Heart blog, here.

I finished the front of the pillow. As you can see, I added the beautiful Pom Pom edge, and I think that white color highlights other colors even better than beige.

I love how the third version turned out. Now, I only have to assemble the pillow, and to wait till Sunday to give it away to my dear young friend. She’s fourteen and she likes my work 🙂

The pattern for the Pom Pom Edge which I fell in love with, you can find here on the lovely blog called Once Upon a Pink Moon. Big, big thanks to Robin for this awesome free tutorial!
Rosie Posie Grannie Square pillow

I finished this pillow a few days ago, and then waited for the sunnier weather to take the photographs. So, today the sun appeared, and I took my camera and made some photos.

These granny squares are called Rosie Posie Grannie Squares, and I really enjoyed making them. The free tutorial you can find here, on the lovely Cherry Heart blog.

Look at this cute Pom Pom Edge! I recently saw this great tutorial, and just had to try it. Right away. Think it’s the cutest edge ever! Yes, I made a whole post about these little owls, but they wanted to jump into every post I wrote. They obviously love publicity.

Next time on my blog – one more Rosie Posie Grannie Squares pillow. But, that will be something totally different…
My first crochet shawl

I finally finished my shawl! I like it! It’s so soft and cozy, I so love to wear it!

The video tutorial for this shawl I found here on YouTube. It’s very simple and easy to make, and also very well presented. I’m very grateful for YouTube and Internet and for all of the great free patterns and tutorials! Thanks guys!

I also finished all the granny squares (from my previous post), so all I have to do now, is to decide how to join them together, and to do it. That part I don’t like as much as I love to crochet, so I hope I will not procrastinate…

Yesterday I found this unpublished photo of the little owls in my computer, so I thought maybe it would be nice to share it with you. I wrote the post about them previously here.
